The outdoor sessions will unfold in several locations near Basel that I am familiar with, and I'm open to your suggestions for other spots. Maternity sessions are usually scheduled during the golden hour, approximately 2-3 hours before sunset, providing a magical backdrop for your photos. If you'd like assistance with makeup, I can connect you with my wonderful colleague, Nicole, a skilled makeup artist.

Once we are on location, we'll proceed with the shoot. Throughout the session, I'll offer guidance and pose assistance for dreamy results, ensuring a pleasant, stress-free experience.

I am the first to say that I may not be the right photographer for everyone. That’s why I always offer a pre-consultation to get to know each other before booking the session. If, after our discussion, I suggest that you might look for another photographer, please don’t feel offended. I genuinely want you to have the best experience possible, and if I believe I can’t deliver what you’re looking for, I will encourage you to seek someone who can.

My focus is completely on the quality of the pictures and the overall experience. To ensure I can give my absolute best, I only take on a limited number of sessions each month. Prices for a full maternity session start at CHF 890.-

2.You are only seeking a couple of pictures for announcement cards.
I want to be transparent with you – achieving perfect results for this type of photoshoot requires time and dedication. If you aren't fully invested in the experience and only need a few pictures for announcement cards, you might be interested in my mini packages.

3. I am the closest photographer to your location, but you prefer the style of that guy from America, feel that my outfits and dresses don't match your personality, or aren't thrilled about the idea of posing your baby in a bucket.

You have your own vision, and I completely understand. However, as much as I would love to accommodate your preferences, I can only create images in the style showcased on my website. If you're interested in other styles, such as natural, lifestyle, beauty, fashion maternity, or documentary, I'm more than happy to recommend some talented colleagues who specialize in those areas. When it is the best time for a pregnancy photoshoot?

I recommend booking your maternity session between 28-32 weeks. During this period, your baby bump is beautifully round, and you are still comfortably away from your due date. It's an ideal time to capture stunning maternity portraits before feeling too heavy, tired, or overwhelmed with other preparations.
I don't typically schedule pregnancy photoshoots after the 33-week mark. From my experience, as you approach this stage, physical changes become more noticeable. Many expectant mothers start to feel heavier, more tired, and may experience swelling. The overall experience can become tiresome rather than pleasant and joyful.

When should I schedule my maternity photosession?

I kindly recommend booking your session at least a month in advance to secure your spot and avoid any potential disappointment.

Do you deliver unedited or RAW files?

No, I do not provide unedited or RAW files.

Imagine going to a restaurant and being served a plate of raw ingredients, with the chef saying, “Here, you can cook this yourself.” You’d likely feel disappointed, right? Just as you expect a restaurant to provide a beautifully prepared meal, I believe that delivering unedited or unfinished pictures is not a good service.

While some photographers may choose to heavily edit just a few images to create a “goddess” or “sex bomb” look and then deliver the rest unedited, I find this approach puzzling, as it often leaves clients feeling dissatisfied. I believe that every image should showcase your natural beauty and authenticity. My goal is not to transform you into someone you’re not, but to highlight your true self through thoughtful editing. I don’t over-edit; instead, I aim for a polished look that captures your essence without losing authenticity.

By focusing on quality over quantity, I am dedicated to providing a complete and satisfying experience. You deserve nothing less than beautifully edited images that reflect the true you.

Can I have photos with my partner and elder kids during the maternity session?

Yes, absolutely. You can and should involve your partner and elder kids in your maternity session. It's likely the last set of photographs you'll have together before your family undergoes a significant change. So including your partner and kids in your maternity session is always encouraged.

However, please keep in mind that the main focus of the session will still be on the expecting mom. If you prefer to have the majority of the pictures with your family, it might be more suitable to hire a family photographer.

What if it rains?

If we plan our shoot in the woods and it's just a light drizzle rather than a downpour, we can still proceed. Wet settings often add a dramatic and expressive touch to photos.
However, to ensure everything goes smoothly, I typically schedule a backup date (coordinated with the makeup artist as well) in case of bad weather forecasted on the original shoot day.

It’s important for clients to remain flexible as well, as we may need to make last-minute changes due to weather conditions—such as moving our shoot from Tuesday to Monday. During the wedding season from August to October, weekday availability becomes essential, as makeup artists are often booked on Fridays and weekends. Being open to scheduling during the week can help us find a suitable time for your session.

Do you provide gowns for the maternity session or should I bring my own dress?

I have a collection of beautiful gowns available for you to choose from in my studio. All the dresses featured on my website are part of my collection and can be rented for your photoshoot.

My maternity gowns are designed to fit all standard sizes and come in a variety of cuts and colors. Additionally, I have silk and chiffon fabrics that we can creatively incorporate into your session.

I have a specific pregnancy dress in mind that I can't find in your catalog.

If you let me know which dress you're referring to and if it aligns with my photography style, I may consider adding it to my client wardrobe. As a photographer, I have connections with numerous vendors, and there's a good chance I'll be able to identify the designer of that particular maternity gown.

However, it's important to note that I prioritize working with authentic products and supporting women entrepreneurs like myself. Therefore, I do not work with knockoffs from platforms like Amazon or Ali Express.

Can you come to my city/town to do a photoshoot?

I only offer outdoor shoots in the Basel area. Unfortunately, I am unable to travel to another city/town.
